Debora "Debby" Ehrenpreis is originally from São Paulo, Brazil. She grew up in a very traditional and Zionist environment, attended a Modern Orthodox school, and joined the Bnei Akiva movement as both a chanicha and madricha. She went on to become the General Manager and Events Planner of the same Bnei Akiva organization in Sao Paulo, in 2018. In this role she also helped with fundraising and summer/winter camp planning for over 100 chanichim.
She has always felt very connected with Israel and in 2015 studied at Midreshet Lindenbaum in Jerusalem. Debby also attended one semester of the Marketing Bachelor's program at Bar Ilan University, in Ramat Gan. In 2016 she came back to Brazil and focused on her marketing career. Debby has a Marketing Bachelor's from FAAP, an Advertising and Marketing Communication Strategy Certificate from Northwestern University, and has been working in the industry for the past five years.
After getting married in 2021, she moved to Miami, Florida. At the beginning of 2023, Debby and her husband, Ben, decided to be closer to family and moved to Skokie, Illinois, where her husband was born and raised.
In her free time, Debby loves to cook, bake, and spend time with her family.
